PBE Updated and a New Skin

The Public Beta Environment has been updated with new content including Diana and a skin for Cho'Gath!

Diana the Scorn of the Moon is available on PBE and playable. Her skin, Dark Valkyrie Diana,which includes dark purple particle effects, is also purchaseable. Battlemech Cho seems like it is going to be a legendary skin since it has a different voiceover(don't forget the awesome particles). We'll see what the cost is in a few days.

Anyways that's it for now. There will be a video showcasing both Diana and Cho's skin!

Catching up: Diana Revealed, Some Eve "buffs" and the upcoming PBE update

I apologize for the delay of any posts here in the blog but we've been busy. I was out of town and unable to post but these are just personal details. Let's get right into the action.... of announcing the hot news!

First off, Diana the Scorn of the Moon!
She's a lady with a crescent blade using the power of the Moon and If you still haven't figured it out she's related to Leona ( Sun chick and Moon chick) They both seem to apply a buff which benefits them in a way (respectively Sunlight and Moonlight). But let's go straight to her kit and ignore the backstory and her relation to Leona ( Which is similar to Kayle and Morgana although IronStylus, the lovely parrot, said that they are NOT sisters)

So there you go here's her kit which seems pretty neat:
  • Moonsilver Blade (Passive): Diana has increased Attack Speed. Every third strike cleaves nearby enemies for additional magic damage.
  • Crescent Strike: Diana swings her blade to unleash a bolt of lunar energy, afflicting enemies with Moonlight and dealing damage in an arc before exploding.
  • Pale Cascade: Diana creates three orbiting spheres that detonate on contact with enemies to deal damage in an area. She also gains a temporary shield that absorbs damage. This shield is refreshed if all three spheres detonate.
  • Moonfall: Diana draws in and slows all nearby enemies.
  • Lunar Rush (Ultimate): Diana teleports to an enemy and deals magic damage. Lunar Rush has no cooldown when used to teleport to a target afflicted with Moonlight.



Secondly, the recently reworked Evelynn is getting some tweaks! Statikk hinted us what the buffs are going to be, I'll "summarize" his post
1. Her passive, Shadow Walk will require less time to restealth you which will make Evelynn  even stealthier. This would also mean that you'll regenerate more mana when walking from one jungle camp to another!
2. Her ultimate, Agony's Embrace will have a lower cooldown simply because it is her main teamfight tool as you need to hit multiple enemies in order to get beefier.

Finally, there's an update on PBE that's probably going to be released really soon (hopefully with Diana and I really hope that there are cool new skins) Get the latest news about it by checking this thread.

Infernal Alister , Rageborn Mundo & Panda Teemo

Morning~(in the afternoon . . .) Now we'll discuss a bit about three new skins.

First off , Panda Teemo ...I know it's been released already so i  won't go much into details.












Second skin would be Rageborn Mundo



   Isn't he beautiful? Reminds me of those sexy Fel orcs... pull one, another 10 come just like kittens to milk.
  I would totally buy mundo just for this skin.


Third, and my favorite Infernal Alistar

   Rageborn Mundo was cool but this, this is something you'd play even if you sucked big time with Alistar. Notice how the "tamed bull" turned into an infernal beast? Also reminds me of a Tauren but this has more potential.



Mid-July patch finally here with some neat changes

After the 3 day delay of the Mid-July patch I can only say IT'S FINALLY HERE. (Although Riot are taking their time with it on the EUW platform)


I will have to disappoint you though because Zyra, Rise of  the Thorns is NOT going to be available for play immediately after the patch. The reason for this is probably the additional time Riot need to fix some bugs or change some of her ratios.

Before we go to the Patch notes I'd like to tell you that Ardo,  the creator of this awesome blog, has released new videos. One of them is a tutorial on how to use the Recommended Item Changer. It's really easy to use and the example he used ( Vayne ) is perfect since her recommended items are wrong ( In my opinion at least) I mean who starts with a regrowth pendant on an AD carry especially with the current "Buy Flat AD and get boots 3 pots" meta. Check out the video by clicking here and get rid of all the recommended items you don't use now !

    • Evelynn fires a line of spikes through a nearby enemy, dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+0.45 Ability Power) (+0.4 bonus Attack Damage) magic damage to all enemies in its path
    • Hate Spike prioritizes what Evelynn has attacked recently
  • Dark Frenzy
    • No Cost, 20 second Cooldown
    • Passive: Evelynn's spell hits on enemy Champions grant her 4/8/12/16/20 Movement Speed for 3 seconds (effect stacks up to 4 times)
    • Active: Evelynn removes all slows affecting her and gains 30/40/50/60/70% Movement Speed for 3 seconds
    • Champion kills and assists refresh Dark Frenzy's cooldown
  • Ravage
    • 50/55/60/65/70 Mana, 9 second Cooldown
    • Evelynn slashes a target enemy 2 times, dealing 35/60/85/110/135 (+0.5 Ability Power) (+0.4 bonus Attack Damage) magic damage with each strike
    • Evelynn then gains 60/75/90/105/120% Attack Speed for 3 seconds
  • Agony's Embrace
    • 100 Mana, 150/120/90 second Cooldown

  • Spray and Pray

Xin Zhao (Remade)

    • Base Attack Speed increased to 0.672 from 0.658
    • Attack Speed per level increased to 2.7% from 2.5%
    Challenge (Passive)
    • Xin Zhao challenges his target with his basic attacks and Audacious Charge, reducing their Armor by 15% for 3 seconds. Only one target can be challenged at a time.
  • Three Talon Strikes

Co-op vs. AI
  • Changed the way bots evaluate towers to better take into account minions and enemies
  • Changed return to base logic for bots to make them more likely to heal and purchase items
  • Dominion bots should now properly ignore invisible units when deciding to defend capture points
  • Beginner bots are now less likely to assist each other during kill and retreat situations
  • Fixed: Bot assist logic now works during the laning phase
  • Updated Ashe Bot's item build
  • Master Yi Bot should now properly purchase Sanguine Blade on Dominion instead of The Bloodthirster

General
  • Added character portraits to the Spectator-mode Dragon and Baron kill announcements
  • Fixed: Spectator no longer occasionally causes floating text announcements to be permanently displayed throughout the game
  • Fixed: When using time controls, gold numbers will no longer get stuck on the screen for some users
  • Fixed several issues that occur when reconnecting, including ghost minions, invisible champions, untargetable towers, and strange store behavior
  • When disconnected, the game will now attempt to reconnect automatically

Zyra - Rise of the Thorns

We are all waiting impatiently for the new champion, Zyra, to be released. The release date has still not been clarified and we are waiting on updates about it.


          Zyra is a dying plant that transferred her consciousness in a sorceress' body. That would explain why a human grows thorns from her thighs right? (Better not hug)
          Her abilities are more or less related to plants but by the sound of it some pretty bad ass plants.- If there will be fans out there you can try them yourself in your garden...Trust me, i'm a gardener. -  They sound like this:

  •   Queen of Thorns (Passive): Upon dying, Zyra transforms into a vengeful plant that fires one last shot before expiring.
  • Deadly Bloom: Zyra grows a bud at target location. After a brief delay it explodes, launching damaging thorns at all nearby enemies. If cast on a seed, Deadly Bloom grows a Thorn Spitter plant, which fires at enemies from afar.
  • Rampant Growth: Zyra plants a seed, granting vision of an area for up to 30 seconds. Other spells cast on seeds will turn them into plants who fight for Zyra.
  • Grasping Roots: Zyra sends forth vines through the ground to ensnare her target, dealing damage and rooting enemies they come across. If cast on a seed, Grasping Roots grows a Vine Lasher, whose short range attacks reduce enemy Movement Speed.
  • Stranglethorns (Ultimate): Zyra summons a twisted thicket at her target location, dealing damage to enemies as it expands and knocking them airborne as it contracts. Plants in the area are enraged, increasing their Attack Speed.
  Sounds pretty OP to me.  There is no official Zyra Champion Spotlight video yet but as soon as it comes out we will post it here along with any other update on this topic.

Cassiopeia updates and Turret love

As you probably know we're going to have a new Cassiopeia skin along with the League of Legends release in Greek! The skin sure is nice looking but many Summoners were quite disappointed due to the fact that it had no skin specific particles similar to other recent skins. Because of this, Riot decided it's the perfect opportunity to revisit Cassiopeia and redo her particles.

Along with the Cassiopeia particle changes, the 3 reworks and the new skins there's some love for turrets too! (As if they're not op already heh) Riot have already hinted on the forums about upcoming turret stealth detection radius increase. Looks like they are planning to throw that on the Live server along with the stealth remakes so they can "balance" fights near turrets.

Soraka Visual Rework

Soraka Visual Rework News + New Skin

Together with Xin Zhao,Twitch and Evelynn`s reworks,Riot are about to make us happier! Looks like they`ve decided to take everything that the community finds unsatisfying and make it better,but lets cut to the chaise - What else should  we expect with the upcoming patches?
